Rachel (レイシェル, Reisheru) is a girl under Adolf Reinhard's tutelage that joined the Annex Project to find a cure for the deadly A.E. virus that afflict the Earth.

Annex I Arc (2619 A.D.)[]
Sometime after the execution of Plan Delta, Squad 5 was ambushed by a large group of Terraformars. With the death of Isabella R. Leon and the exhaustion of Adolf Reinhard, the non-combatant members of Squad 5 started defending their captain from the Terraformars. Shortly, they were captured by the Terraformars before eventually being caught up by the explosion of Adolf's body.

Mosaic Organ Operation. Rachel gained the characteristics of a Basiliscus upon undergoing the M.O. Operation. Common to all M.O. Operation, traits from the treehopper were used to gain an open circulatory system and armored skin.
